This page contains a list of OUSD-provided or supported instructional technology programs commonly available to OUSD teachers, staff and students. Check the details for each program to determine whether you have access.

Clever

What it is: Edtech portal used by OUSD

Available to: Teachers, site staff, students (TK-12)

i-Ready

What it is: Reading and math assessment and learning program

Available to: Teachers, site staff, students (K-12; middle and high school availability is subject to site leadership opt-in)

Google Workspace for Education

What it is: Collection of productivity programs including Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Classroom, Google Forms, Google Sheets

Available to: Teachers, site staff, students (TK-12)

GoGuardian Teacher

What it is: Platform for teachers to monitor in-class student Chromebook activity and set filters to allow or block websites

Available to: Teachers (TK-12)

Schoology

What it is: Learning management system to assign, track and grade school work

Available to: Teachers, site staff, students (6-8), plus Sojourner Truth 6-12

Pear Assessment (formerly Edulastic)

What it is: Platform for teachers to create assessments or use common assessments, and administer to students

Available to: Teachers, site staff, students (6-12)

Illuminate

What it is: Platform to administer assessments and track assessment data, commonlly used for foundational literacy assessments and elementary math assessments

Available to: TK-12 teachers

ThinkLink (FOSSWeb)

What it is: Online platform with science curriculum and assessments

Available to: Teachers, site staff, students (K-8)

Newsela

What it is: Leveled reading material with articles and assessments, including social studies materials for grades 4/5

Available to: Teachers, site staff, students (K-5; most appropriate for grades 3-5)

Great Minds

What it is: Materials and assessments for the elementary Eureka Math2  curriculum

Available to: Teachers, site staff, students (K-5)

mClass (Amplify)

What it is: Platform for administering and tracking early literacy assessments, including DIBELS and Lectura

Available to: Teachers, site staff, students (K-5)

Sora

What it is: Online library of e-books and audio books

Available to: Students, teachers, (PK-12)

Read&Write

What it is: Program/toolbar in Chrome that offers a students offers a range of accessibility/support tools 

Available to: Students, teachers, staff (PK-12)

How to sign in:  Read&Write is already installed for students as an extension in Chrome. Info for teacher/staff installation can be found on the Read&Write webpage.
