DRDP
The Desired Results Developmental Profile (DRDP) is an assessment to measure young children’s learning and development.
The state of California created the DRDP as part of their Desired Results system, a system to help improve services for children and families. The system measures progress on six “desired results”:
Children are personally and socially competent.
Children are effective learners.
Children show physical and motor competence.
Children are safe and healthy.
Families support their child’s learning and development.
Families achieve their goal

DRDP Ratings are entered twice a year, during the Fall (Trimester 1 reporting period) and Spring (Trimester 3 reporting period). DRDP ratings are not entered during the Winter (Trimester 2 reporting period), however, report card comments must be entered in Aeries. Please see the assessment calendar for more info.
