What is Sora?
Sora is an app that lets all students in OUSD access audiobooks and ebooks from the district library collection and the Oakland Public Library. All OUSD students are able to sign into Sora on their laptop, phone or tablet using their Clever Account. You do not need a library card to use Sora.

How do teachers and students access Sora?
Teachers and students can access Sora through Clever on any device!
Browser: Go to https://soraapp.com on any browser
Phone or Tablet: Instal the Sora app for iOs or Sora app for Android.
How can I help students and families use Sora?
Use Sora for read alouds in class time. Sharing your screen means that students can follow along with you as you read!
Invite OUSD library staff to share Sora with your students.
Share Sora with families through Seesaw, Classroom, parent-teacher conferences, and school communication channels.
